| Türkçe Özet | Bu çalışmada, Sovyetler Birliğinin dağılmasından sonra bağımsızlığını kazanan Gürcistan'da önemli bir sektör haline gelen Sivil Toplum Kuruluşları, yasal zemini, faaliyet alanları, önemli toplumsal sorunların çözümündeki katkıları ve toplumdaki etkileri incelenmektedir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ilk olarak, Sivil Toplum kavramı ve tarihsel gelişim süreci ile Sivil Toplum Kuruluşlarının özellikleri ve Avrupa?da Sivil Toplumun gelişim süreci incelenmektedir. Daha sonra ise, Gürcistan?ın ülke profili ve ülkemiz açısından önemi ile demografik ve sosyal yapısı, küresel ve bölgesel güçlerle ilişkileri ve ekonomik yapısına değinilmektedir. Yapılan bu çalışmada varılan sonuçlar özetle şunlardır: Batılı küresel güçler tarafından desteklenerek faaliyetlerini yürüten sivil toplum kuruluşları Gürcistan?da özellikle son yıllarda demokrasinin gelişmesinde, mevcut toplumsal ve siyasal sorunların çözümünde ve sivil toplumun oluşumunda önemli aktörler olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadırlar. Sivil Toplum Kuruluşlarının Gürcistan?ın demokratikleşme sürecine önemli katkılarının bulunduğu, katılımcı demokrasinin gelişmesinde, eğitim, sağlık, adalet ve güvenlik gibi farklı alanlardaki yapısal değişikliklerin demokratik ölçülerde yeniden planlanması ve gelişmiş batılı ülkelerdeki standardı yakalama çalışmalarına olumlu katkıları bulunduğu görülmektedir. Farklı alanlarda faaliyetlerini yürüten 20?nin üzerindeki STK üzerinde yapılan araştırmada özellikle 2000?li yılların başından itibaren sürekli değişim ve gelişim gösterdikleri, ülkenin önemli sorunlarına imkânlar ölçüsünde çözüm aradıkları tespit edilmiştir. | İlgilizce Özet | Civil Society Organizations, which have become an important sector in Georgia that gained independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union, their legal basis, activity areas, important contributions to the solution of social problems and their effects in society have been examined in this study. For this purpose, first of all, the concept of Civil Society (Non-Governmental) and its process of the historical development, in addition to this, the features of Civil Society Organizations and the period of Civil Society development in Europe have been e xamined. Then, it has been mentioned the country profile of Georgia and its importance in respect of our country with the demographic and social structure, relations with global and regional powers and its economic structure. The conclusions of this study in sum follow: Non-governmental organizations (Civil Society Organizations) supported by the Western global powers, which have been carrying out their activities, have been in sight to be important actors in the development of democracy in Georgia, in solving the current social and political problems and in the formation of civil society especially in the last few years. It has been seen that there have been important positive contributions of NGOs (Non-governmental organizations (Civil Society Organizations) ) to the process of democratization in Georgia, in the development of participatory democracy; re-planning structural changes according to the democratic dimensions in different areas, such as education, health, justice and security; and the practices on capturing the standards of developed Western countries. It has been ascertained that the survey conducted on more than 20 NGOs, which are carrying out their activities in different areas shows that they have sustained continuous change and development especially since the early 2000s, and they have been looking for solutions for the country's major problems within the bounds of possibility.Keywords: Georgia, Non-Governmental Organizations, Politics, The Soviet Union, |
