| Türkçe Özet | Ömer Seyfettin, kuşkusuz Türk edebiyatının kilometre taşlarından biridir. Türk edebiyatında öykü, ancak ondan sonra yazarlar arasında başlı başına bir tür olarak ilgi görmüştür. Dolayısıyla Türk öykücülüğünün gelişmesinde Ömer Seyfettin'in etkisi çok büyüktür. Balkan ve Birinci Dünya Savaşı'nda aldığımız yenilgilerin acısını yüreğinde duyan yazar, gerçek kurtuluşu ulusal bilinç duygusunun uyanmasında görüyordu. Ulusal bilincin uyanması için eğitim şarttı. Özellikle çocuk eğitimi önemliydi. Öykülerinin birçoğunda çocuk kahramanlara, söylemek istediklerini söyletmiş, onların taşımaları gereken özellikleri işaret etmiştir.Yapıtlarıyla da özellikle çocuk edebiyatında haklı ilgiyi görmektedir. Ömer Seyfettin'in öykücülüğü üzerine pek çok araştırma ve inceleme yapılmış, daha da yapılacaktır.Bu çalışmada Ömer Seyfettin'in çocuğa bakışını ve çocuk eğitimine yaklaşımını irdeledik. Öykülerinde çocuğa bakış açısını, çocuktan beklentilerini, çocuğa verdiği mesajları tespit etmeye çalıştık. Arkadaşını sevmeyen, kendi çıkarı için yalan söyleyen, başkalarının sıkıntılarını hissedemeyen, ona ortak olamayan çocuk bencil ve sorumsuz olacaktır. Bencillik ve sorumsuzluk büyük bir zaaftır. Ömer Seyfettin'in gelecekte umut beslediği çocuk önce kendini, sonra kardeşini ve arkadaşını sevmeli, ülke çıkarlarını her şeyin üstünde tutmalıdır. |
| İlgilizce Özet | There is no doubt that Ömer Seyfettin is one of the most important milestones of Turkish literature. Short story in Turkish literature has also been related by the writers after his death as the only independent form. For that reason Ömer Seyfettin?s influence on developing Turkish short story telling is very important and great. Ömer Seyfettin, who had felt the sorrow of defeat in the Balkans and First World War, thought that the real independence depended on developing the national consciousness. Education was a necessary tool to wake the national consciousness up. Especially the child education was important. In the most of his short stories, he succeeded to have the child heroes said that he wanted and he pointed the features that he wanted them to have.Ömer Seyfettin is getting to be the focus point of public?s interest with his books in the child literature. There are a lot of studies on his short stories and books and also it may continue to study on his works.In this study we tried to analyze Ömer Seyfettin?s concept of child and ideas on child education. We tried to find out his messages, expectations from children and point of view on children inherited in his short stories. A child who doesn?t like his/her fiends, tells lie for his/her uses, doesn?t feel others? problems, and doesn?t share with others will be self centered, selfish and is not related to his/her responsibilities. Being out of responsibilities and selfish is an important weakness. The child who is Ömer Seyfettin?s hope for future must like himself/herself, his-her sisters on brothers, friends and consider all advantages of the country and all national values. |
