| The article talks about the personal tragedy of the main character of Alexander Kazbegi's story–Khevisberi Gocha. The situation between the individual and the society is shown. On the one hand, there isKhevisberi, an icon of morality, the leader of his people, and on the other hand, an ordinary man, a father who dignifiedly raises his only child and wants him not to commit an unforgivable crime, to live with dignity and die bravely. However, life does not always turn out the way a person wants, and eventually Gocha kills the guilty child with his own hands. The paper discusses this fact and its causes. |
