| In this study total of66 Pseudomonas aeruginosa strainsthat were isolated form pneumonic lung samples collected in the KarsMunicipality Slaughterhouse. Using Kirby Bauer Disc Diffusion method, isolatedstrains were tested against tetracycline, ampicillin, gentamicin,amoxicillin/clavulanik acid, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole, vancomysin andchloramphenicol antibiotic discs. The results of the antibiogram showed that P. aeruginosa strains were resistant100% to ampicillin, gentamicin, trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole andchloramphenicol, 64% to vancomysin, 6% to amoxicillin/clavulanik acid, and 9%to tetracycline. Susceptibility to tetracycline, amoxicillin/clavulanik acidand vancomysin were determined to be 91%, 94% and 36%, respectively. In thelight of the results, tetracycline and amoxicillin/clavulanik acid weresuggested to in Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections. |
