| It is still being discussed under which category poetry tradition of minstrel (âsik, a Turkish folk poet) style should be considered in respect of verse format and verse genre poetry style and verse genre. Classifications put forward by researchers at studies conducted on the subject matter are not consistent with one another. Various assumptions grab attention in several classification trials up until now since Ahmet Talat Onay, who made the first classification trial accessible with regards to the subject matter.
