Özet |
The aim of the present study was to determine concentrations of some acute phase proteins (APP) and to investigate their diagnostic importance in cattle with brucellosis. For this purpose 20 cattle with brucellosis as working group and 10 healthy cattle as control group were used. Blood samples were collected from Jugular vein in tubes without anticoagulant. Blood samples were then centrifuged and the acquired serum samples were stored at-20 oC until future use. Samples were used for determine of concentration of haptoglobin (Hp), ceruloplasmin and albumin. Result of the present study indicated that the concentrations of positive APP including Hp, ceruloplasmin were significantly increased, and albumin concentration was significantly decreased in cattle with brusellosis when compared with healthy ones. In conclusion; in this study in animals infected with brucella occurs acute phase response and as a result Hp and ceruloplasmin synthesis increased while albumin synthesis is determined decreased. |
