| Result: Age of diagnosis in our patient group was 70±130 months (1-624 months) and there were no patients with symptoms at newborn period. 54 of 97 (55%) families in our patient group had a single child. 17 (17.5%) of patients’ families had more than one sick children. Table 1 shows the patients’ families and the distribution according to diseases. Table 2 shows fertility conditions of our adult patients. Discussion: The babies which were delivered as the result of IVF were mainly examined at postnatal period and the rate of diseases that reflect on phenotype on the early period was investigated. Yet, LSD babies could have been skipped in the researched based on phenotype at postnatal period as clinical findings of many storage diseases become evident in time.In the literature, not so many studies are present about delivery of a patient of LSD in case of application with receiving gametes from the ovum or sperm … |
