Özet
Objectives This study aimed to investigate the relationship between nurses’ Internet addiction, sleep quality and sleepiness. Methods Research data were collected with an online and face-to-face introduction form, the Internet addiction scale (IAS), the Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) and the Epworth sleepiness scale (ESS) between January and April 2022. In data analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation and multiple regression analysis were performed. Results The general average scores for the participants were IAS 41.99 ± 16.03, PSQI 5.90 ± 3.27 and ESS 9.53 ± 5.44. It was observed that 58.9% had poor sleep quality and 38.7% had an increased prevalence of daytime sleepiness. Conclusion There was a positive relationship between Internet addiction, sleep quality and sleepiness.
