A moderated mediation analysis of the relationship between compulsory citizenship behavior and organizational citizenship behavior: “You cannot make a crab walk straight”

| Özet |
| In this article, drawing on the Conservation of Resources (COR) theory, we proposed and tested a moderated mediation model that indicates value congruence as the mediator and procedural justice as the moderator in the relationship between compulsory citizenship behavior (CCB) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Data were collected from 224 full-time employees of a private manufacturing company located in Turkey. The results revealed that value congruence mediated the relationship between CCB and OCB. Furthermore, moderated mediation analysis revealed that procedural justice not only moderated the relationship between CCB and value congruence but also reinforced the indirect effect of CCB on OCB (throughCorresponding author: gokhankerse@ hotmail. com; gokhankerse@ kafkas. edu. tr Declaration of Conflicting Interests.
