| The theoretical foundations of the Parental Mediation Scale for Artificial Intelligence‐supported Technologies for Children (PMSAITC) are grounded in Vygotsky's sociocultural development theory, Bandura's social learning theory, Bronfenbrenner's ecological systems theory, and traditional media mediation theories. The study employed a quantitative survey method and involved two distinct groups: one for Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA; ) and another for Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA; ), totaling 551 parent participants. The EFA identified five factors—restrictive, co‐use, viewing, laissez‐faire, and technical mediation—underpinning the scale.
