| Özet |
| Aim: The aim of this tudy is to examine the researches done on using simulation in the training of midwifery skills. Method: In this tudy, Web of Science, Science Direct, Cochrane, SCOPUS, Google Schoolar are scanned sytemically in the Library of Manisa Celal Bayar University e-database by using the keywords,“midwifery education, simulation in midwifery, skills”. The criteria of including the scanned researches to the tudy are that they are in accordance with the Oxford Evidence Level, they were published between the years 2006-2016 in English and that they can be accessed in full-text as well as they are related to midwifery education. Results: 15 tudies which complied with the research criteria and hence were included in the tudy were determined to be at the Oxford Level of Evidence ‘1c, 2a, 2b, 2c’. As a results of simulation training practices, it’s been found that the benefits of implementing advanced and intermediate level simulations are significantly higher than the ones of low level simulations. In the tudy done for the purpose of preparing midwifery tudents to clinical practices, it has been found that after the simulation training, there has been a significant progress in their clinical advancement in the fields of prenatal, potpartum, potnatal and newborn health care as compared to their level before the training. Conclusion: The tudies support that high-level simulators are efective in learning in skills training. In accordance with the technological developments, it has been observed that using computer-based simulation in trainings has increased the knowledge, skills, self-confidence and satisfaction levels of midwifery tudents in their field. |
