Özet
This study was carried out on geese and it was aimed to determine the seroprevalence of Toxoplasma gondii infections in Kars region between November and December 2015. In this study, a total of 400 geese blood samples were collected from Vena cutanea ulnaris and the sera samples were separated by centrifugation at 4000 rpm for ten minutes. All sera samples were investigated by using a commercial Latex Agglutination Test kit for Toxoplasma gondii specific antibodies. The seropositivity rate of Toxoplasma gondii was found to be 0,25%. As a result of this study, Toxoplasma gondii infection is detected firstly in geese in Kars region.
