This study was conducted to determine the effects of different enzyme levels on liveweight gain, feed intake, feed conversion efficiency, carcass dressing percentage, and biochemical parameters of serum in 200 Japanese quails fed with wheat and barley based diet. The birds were divided into four groups (1 control and 3 trials). Each group was divided into two replicate groups containing 25 chicks. The control group was fed only with concentrate, while the treatment groups 1, 2 and 3 received 500, 1000 and 1500 ppm enzyme, respectively, for five weeks. Results revealed that there were no significant difference among the groups in terms of liveweight, dressing percentage, serum glucose, cholesterol, total protein, triglyceride and albumin levels. Feed conversion ratio of the control and groups 1, 2 and 3 were calculated as 3.26, 3.27, 3.10 and 3.03, respectively. It is concluded that the inclusion of different levels of … |
