| In this study, it was aimed to develop an evaluating scale to measure the stress of parents derived from the relations between them and their children in their daily lives. For this purpose, firstly an item pool of Parent Stress Scale (ABSO) was composed. This scale was applied to 438 father and mother having children continuing to be educated in primary schools. 294 (%67.1) of the participants were mother and 144 (%32.9) were father. For the validity studying of ABSO, the test structural validity was studying on. At the end of explanatory factor analysis, a one factor scale was carried out including 16 items and explaining %32.20 of the variance. At the end of reevaluation of the confirmative factor analysis of one factoring structure the criteria data showing the harmony of model and data were $(X^{2}$=252.98) (N=438, sd=104, p=.000), $(X^{2}$/sd=252.98/104=2.43), (RMSEA=0.05), (RMR=0.03), (RMS=0.04, GFI= 0.93), (AGFI=0.91) ve (CFI=0.91). The Cronbach Alpha value to evaluate the inner consistency of ABSO was .85 and Spearman Brown Split-half reliability was 0.82. The item total correlation for all items of the scale ranged from .34 to .58. It was found out after the item analysis that the t value was significant according to (p<.001). As a result it can be said that ABSO had efficient psychometric properties to be used for some other researches. |
